Membership Application
Criteria for Full Membership
- Dental Degree or qualification recognised by the Dental Council of New Zealand
- Higher qualification in Orthodontics recognised by the Dental Council of New Zealand
- At least 2 years clinical experience in exclusive practice of orthodontics other than in formal training
- At least 2 years experience in General Dentistry

Criteria for Associate Membership
- Dental degrees or qualification recognised by the Dental Council of New Zealand
- Experience in General Dental Practice

Criteria for Corresponding Membership
- Resident outside New Zealand
- Member of National Dental Association in residing country

Criteria for Student Membership
- Degrees or qualification recognised by the Dental Council of New Zealand
- Two years experience in General Dental Practice
