NZAO Practice Accreditation Programme
The following Practice Accreditation Programmes are now available.
NZAO Practice Accreditation Programme
This is the Full Accreditation programme. Successful completion of this programme entitles the applicant to:
- Registration and entitlement to advertise as an NZAO Accredited Practice
- Exemption from a DCNZ random practice audit
- Entitlement to train Orthodontic Auxiliaries in your practice
- 60 CPD points
Re-certification of NZAO Practice Accreditation Programme
This programme is for applicants who completed the full Accreditation Programme within the last 7 years. Successful completion of this programme entitles the applicant to:
- Registration and entitlement to advertise as an NZAO Accredited Practice
- Exemption from a DCNZ random practice audit
- Entitlement to train Orthodontic Auxiliaries in your practice
- 25 CPD points
Recent Graduate NZAO Practice Accreditation Programme
This programme is for applicants who are registered orthodontists and who have either graduated from an orthodontic training programme within the last 3 years, or who have completed the practice of orthodontics in NZ within the last 3 years. Successful completion of this programme entitles the applicant to:
- Registration and entitlement to advertise as an NZAO Accredited Practice
- Exemption from a DCNZ random practice audit
- Entitlement to train Orthodontic Auxiliaries in your practice
- 50 CPD points
Orthodontic Auxiliary Trainer Accreditation Programme
This programme is for applicants who wish to be entitled to train orthodontic auxiliaries within their own practice.
