Dr Margie Paterson

Marguerite (Margie) Paterson is a Specialist Orthodontist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Distinction) from the University of Otago in 2013. Upon graduation, she worked as a Dental and Maxillofacial House Officer at Waikato Hospital before moving to Auckland for two years of general dental practice. She then returned to Auckland and Middlemore Hospitals as a Paediatric Dental Registrar where she developed a love for Orthodontics. After Specialist postgraduate training at the University of Otago, she graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics and has opened her orthodontic practice in Dunedin.

Marguerite is a member of the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists (NZAO), the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She is also involved in the Wish For a Smile Charity.
